This course should be completed by every person who works or volunteers in any school, and who may through that work, either as an employee or as a volunteer, come into contact with any learner. Those employees or volunteers may be, but not limited to, teachers, HOD’s, principal, administrators, coaches internal and external, Volunteers, tour or other chaperones, or any other person who may be in regular contact defined as more than three times a month with a child or learner.
This online course consists of 7 modules which will give the participant a broad overview of Safeguarding.
1. Introduction
2. Non-Accidental Harm
3. Recognising Signs of Harm
4. Dealing with Disclosure
5. Reporting Concerns
6. Your Legal Responsibilities
7. Creating a Safe School
To complete this online course, work through each module and complete all tasks before moving on to the next module. Thereafter, you will be required to complete a multiple choice exam.
